Our tailored programs cater to individuals of all ages and skill levels, offering diverse activities ranging from horse interaction to adaptive and traditional horseback riding lessons.

    Lindsay Horlander, President

    As a traditional naturopath, Lindsay Horlander has made a significant impact working with children and adults across diverse learning levels. Lindsay brings a unique approach to fostering emotional intelligence. Through her work, she harnesses the power of equine interactions to enhance empathy, communication, and self-awareness, creating a transformative experience that goes beyond traditional methods. Lindsay's commitment to holistic well-being and inclusive practices shines through, making her a guiding force in creating spaces where individuals of all backgrounds thrive.

    Pam Heintz, Vice President

    Pam Heintz, CEO and Designer of Yukon Freedom Fit, acompany that makes made in the USA products for horseman & women in the Equine industry. Pam, a lifelong horse enthusiast,grew up in the small town of Trotwood Ohio (appropriate for a horse lover) just north west of Dayton Ohio. She received her British Horse Society Instructors Certificate after high school and has been teaching horseback riding since the early 90s.

    Pam has competed horses in many different disciplines including Western Pleasure, Hunter/Jumper, Dressage and 3 Day Eventing. She has been a horse show judge for 4-H, Hunter/Jumpers and Dressage. Pam has also been involved with the US Pony Club for over 20 years as an instructor and officer for the local Dayton area club.

    Pam and her husband, Joe, have several other businesses including a restaurant, a trucking company and a working farm.

    Sarah Hibbard, Secretary

    Sarah Hibbard, our Secretary, not only contributes her organizational skills but also stands as a devoted supporter. As a mother to a daughter who has experienced the positive impact of horses,, Sarah brings a personal commitment to the mission of Dark Horse Inclusion.

    Dan Horlander, Treasurer

    Dan Horlander, our Treasurer, wears multiple hats with pride: he's not just our financial steward but also a dedicated "Barn Dad," "Horse Show Dad," and a compassionate advocate for youth and teens. .Dan's diverse roles reflect his commitment to Dark Horse Inclusion's mission, infusing a personal touch into his support for equine well-being and inclusive practices.
